Get the perspective that most people who visit Kraków miss and admire the city skyline from a board of a small aircraft on a sightseeing 30-minute flight. Meet your driver at your accommodation and head to Pobiednik Wielki, a village located approximately 45-minute drive away from the city centre. There is an airfield which belongs to Kraków Aero Club, one of the oldest institutions of this kind in Poland.
Meet your professional and experienced English-speaking pilot and board Cessna 172 Skyhawk, a four-seater, single engine, high wing aircraft made by the Cessna Aircraft Company. Measured by its longevity and popularity it is the most liked and reliable aircraft in the history.
The aircraft is under constant control of the Department of Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO). The operator of the aircraft owns the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) granted by the National Aviation Authority, i.e. they are eligible to use the aircraft for commercial purposes.
After take-off, you wil fly westwards, towards Kraków’s city centre. You will be travelling over the southern part of the city and enjoy great photo opportunities of its landmars. When you reach western outskirts of Kraków, the pilot will turn the plane back and start getting back to Pobiednik Wielki. During the trip you will be able to spot such places as the Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, Vistula river, Podgórze District, lake Zakrzówek and the abbey in Tyniec.
After 30-minuite flight you will land in Pobiednik Wielki and meet your driver who will take you back to Kraków.
We will meet you at selected pick-up point at the pick-up time which is confirmed on your ticket. We recommend to appear at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before departure.
Our vehicles are easy to recognize as there is Locally Kraków sign on the exterior or on the dashboard. Our English-speaking driver or tour leader will scan your ticket before boarding. Both paper and electronic tickets are accepted.
Our journey to an airfield located outside of Kraków, in Pobiednik Wielki, will take approximately 45 minutes.
Once we reach Pobiednik Wielki, you will meet your professional and experienced English-speaking pilot. You will board the Cessna 172 S aircraft and take off to fly towards Kraków. We will be flying over the southern part of the city.
